The Creation
This section is all about how the world began and who created it. Do you know who created this world and the stars? Well, we will find out soon enough. Here we go! In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (Here we find that, our God created our home, which is temporary) And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided light from the darkness. And God called the light Day and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. (Here we know that God had made a firmament which is; the fog or mist. Yet, some believe that its the heavens or the sky.) And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning was the second day. And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. (Now, we indeed have learned that not only did God create the mist, but it was heaven, our home or more of HIS home) And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas; and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and the herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. (Here in these verses, we know that God brought forth the grass, shrubs, trees, ferns, moss, and all the fruit trees and vegetables that we see today) And the evening and the morning was the third day. And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. (Now we learn that, God had created what we see today, the Sun and the Moon. Yet, how do we actually know which was the seasons and the years? All we know for sure, is that once the seasons came which is; Spring, Summer, Fall/Autumn and Winter. Once winter came, that was the end of the year. Yet to some, in most countries, the end of summer is the new year. Yet, we're not sure.) And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. (Here in these verses, we find that God had set the lights which is the Moon and Stars and the Sun. In which, we know in scientific terms; it was made all in chemicals and protons and neutrons. Yet, we believe in the word of God) And the evening and the morning was the fourth day. And God said, Let the waters bring fourth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. (Now, we know that God created the whales, dolphins, sharks, fishes, etc. and we know that God created the Seagals, Falcons, Eagles, etc. Yet, there were more animals during that time of creation. We only have seen just a small portion of what God created.) And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. And God said, Let the earth bring forth living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. (Here in these verses, we know now that God created all the animals that walk upon the earth. From Lions to Hyenas, to Monkeys and Antelopes. And from the crawling Ant to the Butterfly. Yet, we know that there were more creatures back then, than today.) And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after his kind, and everything that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: And God saw that it was good. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So, God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Now we understand that God created man in his image. Yet, we humans tend to disagree with the facts about our faith and what we believe in. If we do not believe in God and the Lord Jesus, then all this would be in vain. Therefore, our faith must lay with God. Who created us and who sent his begotten Son, Christ Jesus our Lord) And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. (Today, we as man; human beings have disobeyed the law of God. For we aren't doing as God had instructed us, although we were suppose to tending to all the creatures of the earth. Yet, we have all consumed everything in sight and not letting them mulitply. The world is dying off as we speak or as you're reading this. It is a far cry to what we are doing to Gods creation. Therefore, we won't have time to fix the damage that we've done. And if we do? It will be too late.) And God saw everything that he made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day, God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he made. (In this verses, we find that only on the seventh day of the week is the holy day. Which God sanctified it and made it holy, because he had rested. Today, many of us have forgotten this. And most of us don't even honor the seventh day, which is the Sabbath day. Therefore, Saturday is the Sabbath day. But, there are those who have said this; "Saturday is the Roman day of Saturn, which is Saturn day." Yet, it might be true, in history, but when we as Christians, there is only a seventh day in our life-time that we should focus and reflect upon the Father the most High God that created us. Some would say; "Jesus is the most High God." Yet, He was the Son of God. God spirit lives in us. He created us. If we disobey his commandments, then we aren't his children. God will wipe his hands away from us (hence, washing the iniquities of our down fall). And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
More over, it is our duty to trust in God and follow is commandments. Not only do we have to follow the Lord Jesus, yet in our hearts and minds, by doing what God instructed us and by the word of the Lord. If we do as he asks of us, we will have a place in heaven. If you're a Christian and you feel like you're walking on hot coals. Don't worry! All you have to do is remember who created you and why you're here. And dive into the word of God and you'll regain confidence and faith.
Conclusion
Now that we have read through the first Chapter of Genesis. You now have the knowledge of where we came from and why we're here. God didn't create us for no reason. God created us for a purpose, tend to the garden of this world. We are actually gardeners for God. We were suppose to take care of this world as much as possible. And be kind to one another and to all beasts of this world. If we do not do as is instructed. Then we will face our fate soon. I hope you've enjoyed this blog? Hope to see you soon! Take care and God bless you and your family!
